Design

Now the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G smartphone looks amazing whether in Green, Blue, or Brown. It does borrow the design language of its predecessor samsung galaxy M22 with a square camera module on the back. And yes, all for eyes are actual cameras. This time the front panel has an Infinity-V notch though. The phone measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 9.4 mm in dimensions and weighs about 215 g (7.58 oz) because of its beefy Li-Po 6000 mAh, non-removable battery. It does accommodate Single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) and it has a slot for the cherished microSDXC card. 

Display

Now one downside of the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G should you decide to grab it is the fact you get a TFT screen rather than an AMOLED display. Well, it still seems reasonably bright in everything, but you don’t get those same punchy colors. You don’t get the same sharp contrast. And because it’s not an OLED, you don’t get an always-on-display. Still, this 6.6 -inch panel is fine at 1080 x 2408 pixels. The FHD resolution keeps things pretty sharp. And yeah, this is not a 90 Hertz display. To put it simply, if you are okay with 6.6 inches, TFT, 1080 x 2408 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~400 PPI density) display then look no further than Galaxy M23 5G.

Cameras

When you flip the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G smartphone around you can’t miss the camera module on the back. The same constitutes a 50 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), PDAF, 8 MP, f/2.2, (ultrawide), 1/4″, 1.12µm, 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro) and a 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth) lens. But really the main focus here, pun intended, is on that main sensor. With 50 megapixels you should expect detailed shots. As far as videos go, this phone can shoot up to 1080p@30fps. It has an 8 MP, f/2.2, (wide) selfie camera that shoots okay pics. The best use case for this selfie camera would be video calls and stuff like that. In the last place, some of the camera features of Galaxy M33 5G are LED flash, panorama, and HDR. 

Android 12, One UI 4

What you have got running the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G is Android 12, One UI 4.1 launcher. One UI just brings the best of Android 12 here. For instance, the privacy features are present and correct. You can fast toggle the camera and microphone access for all apps. And when you load up an app that uses the camera or the mic, you’ll get a little indicator at the top corner. You’ve got great customization in one UI. For example, you change the wallpaper and everything as usual, but you’ll also see the new color palette option as well. This can actually change up the theme and colors based on the wallpaper you’ve got installed at the time.

Battery

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G comes with a massive 6,000 mAh battery. We best describe its performance as the power that keeps you going all day long. Seriously though, isn’t 6000 mAh so generous? We find it is. And should you start running low, plugin, and power up with 25W Fast Charging? A 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector is present here.
