Physical Attributes of Reno 10 Pro

Massive. Elegant. Ergonomic design. Luxurious look. Outstanding aesthetics. Oppo Reno 10 Pro is a true gem, enclosed in a glass-fronted and backed body alongside a plastic frame. The glass enclosure is well-done to look glass-like and give the handset the undeniable premium look.  The aesthetics at the back complete the look at one of the most glamorous handsets ever developed by Oppo.

The twin SIM handset measures 163 x 74 x 7.7 mm and weighs 186g. at 7.7mm, it is one of the slimmest handsets in 2023 and equally remarkably lightweight at 186g. Its size and weight make it a great phone to handle single-handedly and carry in the jacket pocket or carrier bag. One crucial feature fundamental to the phone’s functionality is the fingerprint scanner. Oppo Reno 10 Pro’s fingerprint sensor is under-display, optical. It enhances security access to your data and information from unauthorized access.

    An Impressive and Immersive Display

The Reno 10 Pro features a 6.74-inch OLED, 1B colors, 120Hz, HDR10+, 1400 nits (peak) display.  The phone has thin bezels at ~90.6% screen-to-body ratio, maximizing the space for display and use. At 1240 x 2772 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~451 ppi density) resolution, the Oppo phone has one of the highest resolutions for a mid-range smartphone. At 451 ppi density resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness at 1400 nits, and 90.6% screen-to-body ratio, the display on the Oppo Reno 10 Pro is great for immersive, cinematic user experience when playing games, watching videos, browsing the internet, and social media interaction on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. The screen is not protected by a Corning Gorilla protector, which is a concern and oversight by Oppo, considering the unique nature of the display based on its specifications.

    Processing Unit

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G (SDM778G 5G Mobile Platform) is a fast mid-range ARM-based SoC largely found on Android tablets and smartphones. It integrates eight cores (octa-core) divided into two clusters. A fast performance cluster with four cores based on the ARM Cortex-A78 architecture with up to 2.4 GHz and a power efficiency cluster with four small ARM Cortex-A55 cores at up to 1.8 GHz. Depending on the workload only single clusters or all cores can run at different clock speeds. Thanks to the new Cortex-A78 cores, the CPU performance increases by up to 40% compared to the old Snapdragon 768G according.

    Memory Space

Oppo is installed with sufficient RAM and ROM to enable optimal smartphone use. Your Oppo Model can either be:

    • 256GB internal memory, 12GB RAM

The phone uses UFS 3.1 technology, which is essential in optimizing memory space. The more RAM a phone has, the snappier its performance when switching between applications. Also, with more RAM, you can access and use applications that use much memory without adverse implications. This is true for Reno 10 Pro, whose 12GB RAM is remarkable. It allows it to run smoothly even when multiple applications open. Whereas other phones may stutter when running heavy applications such as heavy-setting games, and video editors, the Oppo phone plays robustly due to its high RAM specifications.

The phone’s internal memory space specifications are commendable and sufficient. With up to 256GB of internal memory, such space is enough for storing hundreds of multimedia files and heavy documents without much of a problem. Rather than walking with a USB flash disk or HDD, you can use the smartphone’s internal storage to carry the needed files. The phone does not support additional memory, with no MicroSD slot.
